If you feel unsafe walking between your building and the bus stop, call us or utilize any of the emergency call boxes.

You can request a walking escort or a safe passage escort to any point on campus.

Vehicle assists

Should you experience difficulty starting your vehicle, or lock your keys in your vehicle, The University of Texas System Police Department at SFA will assist you.

To request assistance, use an emergency call box or call 936.468.2608.

Emergency call boxes

Emergency call boxes have been placed at various locations on the SFA campus. These call boxes are white or bright yellow and are labeled "Emergency" or "Police" in black letters. 

To operate:

• Push the appropriate button
  • red button for 911
  • or black button for non-emergency calls.
• Talk directly into the speaker when the call is answered.
  • Your call goes directly to the campus police. 

Call boxes can be used to request police assistance, escorts, vehicle assistance and information.
