Its time to take the stage

The Opera Theatre program at SFA is dedicated to the principle of providing our students as many opportunities as possible to sing in leading roles.

We have produced a variety of operas in recent years, including:

The secret is preparation

Musical rehearsals, role coaching and staging rehearsals are the foundation of successful performances. Productions are presented in our modern 1,000-seat Turner Auditorium and other venues on- and off-campus.

The opera theatre produces a full-length major opera each spring, and the fall opera workshop offers opportunities for additional training.
