The space you need to grow
From rehearsal and performance halls to our state-of-the-art recording studios and high-tech classrooms, students at SFA can always find the space and equipment they need to practice, study, make friends and perform.
It takes a lot of facilities to provide the best experience for our large faculty and student population, so we're spread across multiple buildings and know it can take a while to learn your way around!
The Wright Music Building houses:
- classrooms
- two performance halls
- many ensemble rehearsal areas
- practice rooms
- faculty offices
- piano repair facility
- and the School of Music offices.
The beautiful renovation and expansion of the Griffith Fine Arts Building contains:
- a concert hall suitable for large ensembles, opera productions and national tours
- and a world-class sound recording technology suite with multiple recording studios.
Our theory and composition faculty offices are mostly located in the McKibben Building, along with additional classrooms, labs and another recording studio. We also have other satellite locations with teaching and rehearsal spaces.
Come to our campus and take a tour! We'd love to show you around. If you need more information about any of our facilities, contact the School of Music office.
