A message from the director, Dr. Nathan Nabb

Thank you for your interest in the SFA School of Music! From Music Education, to Composition, to Conducting, to Performance, to Sound Recording Technology, to Music Theory, we have a wide variety of programs built to suit your interests and to help you pursue all of your musical ambitions.

We have excellent ensembles, including bands, choirs, orchestra, contemporary and popular music ensembles, jazz bands and many exciting chamber music opportunities. In addition to these groups, our events calendar regularly features faculty recitals, guest artist recitals, guest lecturers and more.

Our faculty are internationally recognized experts, regularly performing and presenting around the world. Our graduates enjoy successful careers as teachers, performing artists, and music practitioners across the state of Texas, the United States and beyond.
