For students entering grades 9-12

One of the first of its kind, SFA's annual All-State Choir Music camp is designed for high school students who are preparing for the TMEA All-State choir auditions. We're committed to meeting the needs of both large and small schools as they prepare for the All-State process.

Our section leaders are a of combination esteemed high school directors from various parts of Texas and SFA's School of Music faculty members.

These camps teach the All-State repertoire, include diction lessons and provide International Phonetic Alphabet transliterations for directors. SFA doesn't provide Texas All-State audition music. Campers may purchase the music online at Pender's Music Co or JW Pepper.

2025 camps

  • Small-school choir camp: July 9-12
  • Large-school choir camp: July 13-16

Regular and commuter

  • Regular camper: $390
    • Includes T-shirt, meals and lodging
    • Campers requesting single rooms (add $150)
  • Commuter with meal plan: $265
    • Includes T-shirt and meals
  • Commuter: $190

All-State members

  • On campus: $290
    • Includes T-shirt, meals and lodging
    • Campers requesting single rooms (add $150)

Directors and chaperones

  • Choir directors with campers: Free
    • Includes T-shirt, meals and lodging
  • Additional choir director from same school: $270 (if five additional campers attend, the additional director is free)

  • Parental chaperones: $270
    • Includes T-shirt, meals and lodging
