All-State Day

Oct. 9, 2023: Woodwinds, brass and percussion

Note: Columbus Day is not a university holiday

An all-day event devoted to Texas high school students who play a woodwind, brass or percussion instrument.

Explore a day as an SFA student by joining us during a regular university class day! This free event includes masterclasses on all-state music for Texas Music Educators Association and the Association of Texas Small School Bands, led by internationally-recognized faculty members who specialize in your area of interest.

You also will hear university ensemble performances and meet with representatives from the Office of Admissions.

Check-in begins at 11:30 a.m.

A complete schedule, including lunch options, will be provided to students closer to the event.
