Summer 2024 deadlines
Defense deadlines
- July 9, 5 p.m.
- Thesis/dissertation final drafts must be submitted to coegrad@sfasu.edu with the "Thesis/Dissertation Defense Meeting Request Form" attached.
- July 23, 5 p.m.
- Last day to defend thesis/dissertation or take comprehensive exam.
- Aug. 7, 5 p.m.
- Comp exam reports (paperwork only) must be submitted. If your comp exam is your thesis defense, it must be scheduled and completed by the defense deadlines.
- Fully-signed/approved defenses must be submitted to coegrad@sfasu.edu.
Proposal deadlines
- July 12, 5 p.m.
- Thesis/dissertation proposal drafts must be submitted to coegrad@sfasu.edu with the "Thesis/Dissertation Proposal Meeting Request Form" attached.
- July 26, 5 p.m.
- Last day to propose thesis/dissertation.
- Aug. 9, 5 p.m.
- Fully-signed/approved proposals must be submitted to coegrad@sfasu.edu.
