Ceremony dates: Dec. 13 - 14
The conferral date for all fall 2024 graduates is Dec. 14, 2024. For more information view key terms to know.

| Jan. 9 | Last day to email graduation@sfasu.edu regarding any diploma mailing address changes. Include your name and campus ID number. |
| Jan. 10 | "Hold for Degree" transcripts for fall 2024 graduates begin being processed. |
| Jan. 21 | Final deadline for all outstanding items for fall 2024 graduation to be resolved (transferred courses, withheld grades, etc.) |
| Feb. 11 | Email regarding diploma delivery information was sent to fall 2024 graduates' mySFA email. |
Spring 2025
Ceremony dates: May 8 - 9
Apply on time Sept. 15 to Nov. 15
The conferral date for all spring 2025 graduates is May 9, 2025. This may differ from the student's commencement ceremony date. For more information view key terms to know.

| March 21 | Candidates applying after this date may not appear in the ceremony program and should expect to be seated last in the ceremony lineup. |
| April 6 11:59 p.m. | Last day to order your official SFA commencement regalia and have it shipped to your home. View details about purchasing your regalia. |
| April 7 5 p.m. No exceptions | All candidates for graduation: Last day to complete the "Confirm Graduation Details" form. Not planning to attend commencement? Be sure to let us know on your form. If you've already applied to graduate, check your student email for instructions on accessing and completing the form (sender: graduation@sfasu.edu). |
