The minor in theatre allows creativity to complement the core of a liberal arts education and use theatre as a laboratory to explore how humanities, sciences and other arts intersect.

You'll develop artistic discipline in acting, directing and design for theatre while enhancing your historical and analytical skills through an appreciation of theatre history and dramatic literature. In this program, you'll collaborate with the School of Music for musical theatre productions.

We also have many theatre organizations such as classical theatre, devised theatre, improv, multi-cultural ensemble, tech theatre, dance honor society and theatre honor society and encourage you to join!

All productions (mainstage and student directed) are open to all SFA students, regardless of major or classification.
