  • SFA theatre and dance students visit Arthur’s Seat in Edinburgh, Scotland, while participating in the international arts event, the Festival Fringe.
  • International experience and cultural exchange are at the heart of the biennial trip SFA theatre students make to Ireland every other June. Visiting the sites of major events in Irish history, which is inextricably tied up in the country’s dramatic tradition, is another key benefit. Throw in a lot of museum visits and theatre-going, and you have the makings of a once-in-a-lifetime learning experience.
  • Select SFA theatre and dance students make a biennial trip to Edinburgh, Scotland, to tour an original play at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, part of the world’s largest international arts festival. Students learn valuable touring skills, from marketing and promotion to performance adaptation to networking.
  • Theatre students study Shakespearean theatre and are immersed in British culture during a study abroad maymester trip to London. For some students, tours like these represent their first international experience.
