Degrees and areas of study offered
SFA's School of Theatre and Dance offers students a few degree options depending on their specific interests, whether they want a broader liberal arts program, are looking to enter the educational world or want to prepare for a career in the theatre profession.
Undergraduate degrees
- Bachelor of Science in Dance
- grade 6-12 teaching certification preparation concentration
- performance and choreography
- Bachelor of Arts in Theatre (generalist)
- Bachelor of Arts in Theatre with an all-level (EC-12) teaching certification preparation concentration
- Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre
- Acting and directing concentration
- Musical theatre concentration (coming fall 2025)
- Stage management concentration
- Technical theatre and design concentration
