The SFA School of Theatre and Dance offers you not only production opportunities, but a broad range of liberal arts and pre-professional theatre studies that will set the stage for you to succeed – wherever your professional career takes you.

Degrees and areas of study offered

SFA's School of Theatre and Dance offers students a few degree options depending on their specific interests, whether they want a broader liberal arts program, are looking to enter the educational world or want to prepare for a career in the theatre profession.

Undergraduate degrees

• Bachelor of Science in Dance
  • grade 6-12 teaching certification preparation concentration
  • performance and choreography
• Bachelor of Arts in Theatre (generalist)
• Bachelor of Arts in Theatre with an all-level (EC-12) teaching certification preparation concentration
• Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre
  • Acting and directing concentration
  • Musical theatre concentration (coming fall 2025)
  • Stage management concentration
  • Technical theatre and design concentration
