NACOGDOCHES, Texas - The Rockin' Axes at Stephen F. Austin State University will present "The Sounds of the '70s, Part II" when the ensemble performs at 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 29, in Cole Concert Hall on the SFA campus.
SFA administrators investigating complaint made by student-athlete
Stephen F. Austin State University officials are investigating a complaint made by a member of the Ladyjack Basketball team, who claims that Head Coach Mark Kellogg treated her unfairly during the season.
Because this is a personnel issue, the university will not comment on the matter while the investigation continues.
"The well-being of all SFA students is our primary concern," said Dr. Baker Pattillo, SFA president. "Our investigation, which began more than a week ago, will be thorough. We will take any appropriate action based on what is found."

Oil Drop Oliver was born at 8 a.m. on a Friday during a marketing, advertising and promotion class in SFA's Nelson Rusche College of Business. Made of felt and polyester stuffing, Oil Drop Oliver serves as a loveable character that is clean and green.

NACOGDOCHES, Texas - The online Bachelor of Business Administration degree program within Stephen F. Austin State University's Nelson Rusche College of Business is ranked among the top 50 best online undergraduate business programs in the nation, according to College Choice, an independent online publication dedicated to helping students discover the right college.
The publication recognized SFA as the 28th best program in the nation based on the university's reputation and affordability.
Program to feature music for clarinet, bassoon, piano
NACOGDOCHES, Texas - Clarinetist Dr. Mary Druhan will perform in a trio concert at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 27, in the Music Recital Hall in the Wright Music Building on the Stephen F. Austin State University campus.
Druhan, associate professor of clarinet at Texas A&M University Commerce, will be joined by TAMU-Commerce colleague Dr. Luis Sanchez, piano, and Dr. Sue Barber, professor of bassoon at James Madison University, when they present works by Ludwig van Beethoven, Julius Fucik, Karl Goepfart and Mikhail Glinka.
