SFA has partnered with UT Health to provide the Employee Assistance Program, which offers SFA employees and their loved ones living in the same household access to free, confidential services on a variety of different topics. Some of these include counseling sessions with a licensed mental health professional, legal and financial resources, and work-life referrals.

EAP is separate from and not to be confused with or viewed as a replacement of SFA’s Lumberjack Education Assistance Program, or LEAP, which offers tuition assistance for employees.

Administered by The University of Texas’ Employee Assistance Program, EAP provides experienced consultants offering telehealth/in-person sessions for specific issues, free informational booklets, audio recordings, and referrals to resources and services in your community. All SFA employees and eligible family members have access to five free counseling sessions per issue, in addition to the other resources available online. SFA’s EAP is available to assist you 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

All EAP services are private and completely confidential, and are available to you, your spouse, live-in partner and eligible dependent children. An experienced consultant is just a phone call away!

SFA’s EAP offers information, advice and support on a wide range of everyday issues, including:
