Waiver applies to nonresident tuition, reducing the amount to Texas resident tuition rates.

Eligibility
Eligible students are those who are:
- nonresident faculty or the nonresident, dependent children or spouse of faculty
- and employed at least half-time on a regular monthly salary basis by any Texas public college or university.
Faculty and their dependents are not required to enroll at the same institution listed as the employing institution in order to receive this waiver.
How to Apply
Contact Human Resources and request an internal employment verification letter. They will provide the letter to your SFA email and you must forward this to the Office of the Registrar at registrar@sfasu.edu.
If the applicant is a dependent of an SFA faculty or staff member, the employment verification letter must be for the employee with a statement of the relationship between employee and applicant.
