A show-stopping home for fine arts

The SFA Board of Regents approved more than $50 million for the initiative, which included extensive renovations to the existing Griffith Fine Arts Building, adding handicap parking, a patron drop-off zone and three stories of new construction.

Reopened fall 2023, the state-of-the-art building includes:

  • two dance studios
  • two theatres
  • auditorium
  • recording studio
  • sound stage
  • audio and video editing rooms
  • art gallery
  • multiple classrooms
  • rehearsal facilities
  • faculty offices
  • and the offices of the dean.

The facilities house the Micky Elliott College of Fine Art's sound recording technology, filmmaking, theatre and dance programs.

Come see our beautifully renovated and expanded facility!
