CARRI hosted the Rural Texas Travel and Tourism Conference in the Baker Pattillo Student Center. Keynote speaker was Jonas Arjes, executive vice president and chief economic development officer for Branson/Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce and CVB in Branson, Missouri. The conference program also included spotlight, rural travel and resource panels.

The CARRI team joined university and community leadership at Chamber Days in Austin, a Nacogdoches Chamber of Commerce partnership program with the Lufkin/Angelina County Chamber of Commerce.
