Mountain Biking at Lake Bryan

Feb. 10
Cost: $45

Riders of all experience levels are welcome to attend.

Join us for a day of mountain biking at Lake Bryan near College Station. Zip through winding singletracks and test your skills with trails and obstacles surrounding Lake Bryan.

Transportation and lunch will be provided, and you'll get to sleep in the comfort of your own bed after a long day on the trails.

Sweetheart Paddle

Feb. 14
Cost: $30

Come join us this Valentine's Day for a sweetheart paddle on Lake Nacogdoches. During the event, you can enjoy paddling with a friend or partner and relax along the lakeside.

Snacks and drinks will be provided. You have the option to drive yourself, or ride with us for an additional $5 charge.

Spring Break at Big Bend

March 9-16
Cost: $515

Head down to Big Bend National Park in Brewster County for a hiking and canoeing trip you'll never forget. Spend a few days paddling on the Rio Grande River through the Boquillas Canyon, and cap off the evening enjoying the starry nights. This trip offers the perfect getaway for an adventurous spring break. Save $50 by starting a payment plan by Dec 2.

Bouldering at Rogers Park

April 13-14
Cost: $65

Join us for a bouldering extravaganza at Rogers Park an hour outside of Austin. This lakeside park features multiple bouldering options with grades for all levels of climbers. Whether you're a beginner who's never climbed outside or an advanced climber with years under your belt, there is a place for you!

Transportation, meals and park fees included.

Day at the Lake

April 27
Cost: Free

Join us at Lake Naconiche for a day of paddleboarding, kayaking and canoeing with your friends.

Lunch and snacks will be provided. You have the option to drive yourself, or ride with us for an additional $5 charge.

Adventure of the American West

May 12-22
Cost: $730

Head west with us and experience some of the most epic landscapes the U.S. has to offer. Hike among the famed rock arches in Utah's Arches National Park; Stand in the living history of Hopi Pueblo cliff dwellings at Mesa Verde National Park and squeeze through slot canyons in Canyonlands National Parks. We'll start and end the trip by hanging out (from a safe distance) with wild bison at Caprock Canyons State Park.

Trips and Clinics

Can a beginner participate on the trips?

By all means, yes! We love to introduce people to a new activity that may become their next favorite hobby.

Can I bring a non-member guest on the trip?

Yes. Non-member guests are allowed to participate. One Campus Recreation member may invite one guest per trip. The cost of the guest will be 15% above the member price.

How can I pay for trips?

We accept cash, checks, credit cards and debit cards.

What do I bring on an Outdoor Pursuits trip?

You will need to bring your clothes and personal items. Other than that, all group gear, such as tents, sleeping bags, stoves, etc., are provided. We also cover all transportation costs during the trip, all entrance and activity fees, and food.

Are refunds issued?

A full refund (minus a $10 administrative fee) will be given if you cancel prior to the trip registration deadline. If you do not cancel before this, no refund is available unless another participant signs up for the trip in your place. You are then issued a refund minus the administrative fee. Be advised that refunds may take up to 15 business days to process.
