Organized competition with serious fun
Sport clubs are student-run organizations that give you the opportunity to have fun while gaining valuable leadership experience and engaging in some friendly competition. Through the learning experiences afforded by sport clubs, these teams bridge the gap between intramural sports and varsity athletics.
Our wide variety of sport clubs ensures that there’s a little something for everyone. Love the outdoors? Check out our Rock Climbing club or join our national champion Bass Fishing club. Looking for something a little more laid back? Ultimate Frisbee or Quidditch might be more your style.
State and nationwide competitions
Many of our sport clubs go head-to-head with clubs from other Texas schools like The University of Texas, Texas A&M University, Texas Christian University, Sam Houston State University, The University of Houston, Southern Methodist University and The University of Texas at Dallas.
Some clubs even compete against teams from all over the country!
