Academic scholarship for Campus Rec employees

The Campus Recreation professional staff created the Dr. Raymond Lee Worsham Endowed Scholarship to provide financial assistance to current student employees of Campus Rec. The Dr. Raymond Lee Worsham Scholarship was established in 2011 to provide financial assistance for tuition and books to one undergraduate or graduate (non-GA) Campus Rec student employee each year who upholds the values of the department in his or her work.

Receive up to $1,000

The recipient is announced during the annual Campus Rec employee banquet in late April/early May, and the scholarship funds will be disbursed in the amount of $500 at the beginning of the fall and spring semesters. To receive the full $1,000 academic scholarship, the recipient must remain employed for the duration of the fall and spring semesters in which the scholarship is applied.
