Professional Academic Advising Council

ABOUT

The Professional Academic Advising Council is the university's campus-wide advising organization that serves all academic advisors. PAAC promotes student success by providing information, resources, professional development and updates on the latest information about policy and services on campus.

The organization empowers and educates the university community to better serve students while supporting the mission of SFA. All academic advisors are encouraged to attend PAAC monthly meetings and to join the PAAC email distribution list.

Executive committee

Approved by the provost and executive vice president for academic affairs, the PAAC executive committee is comprised of representatives from each college. View details on the Academic Affairs Committees webpage.

Meetings

PAAC meets from 2 to 3 p.m. on the second Thursday of the month.
