How do I submit a work order?

Work orders must be submitted electronically through the AiM work management system. The Physical Plant Department must be provided with a university account number to charge in order to create a work order.

Who should I contact if I am having trouble entering a work order or viewing my charges?

I have a work order that needs to be handled immediately (i.e., gas leak, flooding). What should I do?

During work hours (7 a.m. to 4 p.m.), you can call the Physical Plant Department  at (936) 468-3206 to notify someone of the situation. After hours or during lunch (noon to 1 p.m.), call The University of Texas System Police Department at SFA at (936) 468-2608. For documentation and billing purposes, you may also be required to submit a written request through the AiM system.

Is a key request the same as a work order?

Yes, submit all key requests following the same procedure as work orders. The Physical Plant Department must be provided with a university account number to charge in order to create a work order.

Can student organizations rent tables and chairs from the Physical Plant Department?
