SFA appoints Dr. Jordan Barkley as provost and executive vice president for the Division of Academic Affairs

Barkley as the institution’s new provost and executive vice president for the Division of Academic Affairs. Barkley will be charged with guiding SFA’s academic programs, faculty development and fiscal responsibilities.
Courmier tabbed Critical Language Scholarship Spark award recipient

SFA business students earn honors at international management society conference

Austin State University chapter of the Society for Advancement of Management received several awards at the SAM International Business Conference in March in Tallahassee, Florida. Students from SFA’s Nelson Rusche College of Business competed with students from around the world in categories ranging from business pitch and extemporaneous speech to a case competition at the conference.
