SFA Gardens lecture series to feature talk on salsa


NACOGDOCHES, Texas - SFA Gardens at Stephen F. Austin State University will host the monthly Theresa and Les Reeves Lecture Series at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 10, in the Ina Brundrett Conservation Education Building at the Pineywoods Native Plant Center, 2900 Raguet St. Paul Wilson will present "I Came All the Way from Louisiana to Explain to You What Real Salsa Is All About."

Special SFA Gardens lecture to feature expert on gingers

Austin State University will host a special lecture on gingers at 1:30 p.m. Monday, July 7, in the Ina Brundrett Conservation Education Building at the Pineywoods Native Plant Center, 2900 Raguet St. in Nacogdoches. Bidding for 12X12 art scholarship fundraiser begins July 2


This last artwork by beloved SFA art professor Gary Frields, created before his death last year, will be featured in a special auction during the annual 12X12 fundraiser presented by the SFA Friends of the Visual Arts.
