Course credit

Cost
In addition to the course cost, wind and percussion members should expect to spend no more than $200 for all necessary accessories, including gloves, polo shirt, etc. All in-state travel expenses, including meals, are paid by the School of Music.
Renting an instrument
We are able to supply some instruments, including sousaphone, marching baritone, mellophone and piccolo. Other instruments may be available in limited quantities and are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis. The instrument rental fee is $50.
Rehearsals and performances
Rehearsals are held 4 to 6 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays and on Saturday mornings of home games. The color guard rehearses one additional evening during the week.
Members of the LMB travel regularly. While this is often to football games or performing as an exhibition band at high school competitions throughout the state, additional opportunities to travel are found nationally and internationally.
Additional performances include the Homecoming parade in downtown Nacogdoches and a performance during the annual Homecoming bonfire pep rally.
