The Center for Career and Professional Development (CCPD) hosts various events each semester to help all current SFA students and alumni grow, learn and explore their professional development. For more information about each event, log in to your Handshake account and search for Events or Career Fairs. We encourage everyone to pre-register for the events to help our office better prepare. You are also always welcome to email or call the CCPD with any questions or concerns.

Please note that professional dress is required for all career fair attendance unless otherwise noted. If needed, we offer free professional clothing (suits, slacks, skirts, blazers, shoes, ties, tops, etc.) that students can borrow from the CCPD Career Closet. Stop by the CCPD Office (3rd floor of the Baker Pattillo Student Center, Room 3.302) Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. to look through the closet.

December Graduation Survey
All December 2024 graduates are asked to complete their graduation survey, the First Destination Survey, or FDS. This survey lets the SFA's Center for Career and Professional Development know your plans for after graduation, even if you are still seeking opportunities. Please check your mySFA email for the sign up link. Any December graduate who completes the survey before the SFA Alumni Senior Send-Off Event on Dec. 3 will get a free SFA pint glass at that event!
Construction Management and Interior Design Career Fair
Meet with employers with internships and full-time job opportunities in the interior design and construction management fields. It is also a great networking and job research experience, even if you are not currently looking for a position.

All Majors Career Fair
Come meet with recruiters and learn about their organizations, internships and full-time opportunities. If you are not looking for a position, this is still a great chance to ask questions and learn about different companies and career paths. This event is open to all students, of all majors and all classifications.
