Career Liaisons
The Career Center operates out of a career liaison model. This means staff members are dedicated to coaching all majors within their assigned colleges. So, when students schedule career coaching appointments, they will primarily meet with their college’s assigned liaison. Students will also primarily see their liaison in their classrooms for presentations. Listed below is the assigned liaison for each college at SFA:
Staff Member | Colleges | |
---|---|---|
Sydnee Seeton | College of Sciences and Mathematics | |
College of Liberal and Applied Arts | ||
Micky Elliott College of Fine Arts | ||
Emma Prince | Nelson Rusche College of Business | |
Arthur Temple College of Forestry and Agriculture | ||
James I. Perkins College of Education |
Student Career Advocates
These trained student career advocates assist in the success of many of Career Center services, from professional document critiques to career fairs. When you engage with our office, it’s almost impossible to do so without having one of these advocates help in some capacity.
