Full membership
Members enjoy access to all facilities provided by Campus Recreation during open hours and the opportunity to participate in all programs (extra fees may apply).
Memberships for dependents are available depending on age.
Limited-hours membership
Members enjoy access to all facilities provided by Campus Recreation that which are open during specific hours. Examples of facilities/programs typically not available with this type of membership are the rock wall and weekday pool use.
Membership for dependents are only available for those 16 years of age and older.

Sponsored memberships: Dependents and Guests
Dependents and guests are eligible for a membership if they are sponsored by an eligible or active member. Click on the sponsored membership name to learn more about the policies and criteria.
- Dependent 16+ years (must be sponsored by an eligible member)
- $30/month - Sponsored by a Student/Faculty/Staff/Retiree or their spouse
- $45/month - Sponsored by an SFA Alumni or their spouse
- Dependent 5 to 15 years (must be sponsored by an active member participating in a full membership)
- $12.50/month - Sponsored by a Student/Faculty/Staff/Retiree or their spouse
- $25/month - Sponsored by an SFA Alumni or their spouse
- Dependent 0 to 4 years: (must be sponsored by an active member participating in a full membership) Free
- Guest pass: (must be sponsored by an active member) $10/day
Limited-Hours Membership Rates
Patrons with the limited-hours membership have facility access:
- Monday through Friday: Open to Noon
- Saturday: All day
View facility hours and days with reduced hours.

You also can sponsor a guest for $10/day (following the same limitation of hours).
Locker service
Lockers with locks are available to rent for $4 per month for the length of the semester in which it's initially rented. Locker rentals expire on the following dates: May 31, Aug. 31 and Dec. 31.
To rent a locker, visit the front welcome desk.
Day-use lockers:
There are 70 day-use lockers in each locker room of the Student Recreation Center. These lockers are first come, first served and you must bring your own lock. Locks left on these day-use lockers overnight will be cut.
ID card for facility access
You must have a current SFA ID before entering the facility. This may be purchased at the ID office in the Baker Pattillo Student Center for $5. If you are not a current student/faculty/staff member, you will need proof of your Campus Recreation membership to purchase an ID for facility access.
Parking permit
If you do not have an SFA parking permit, you must purchase a “Wellness Permit” through the Student Recreation Center administrative office for the lots at both entrances to the building.
If you are one of the following, your active membership is eligible for a "Wellness Permit":

- Spouse of Student/Faculty/Staff
- SFA Retiree
- Spouse of SFA Alumni Association Member
- Angelina College Students
- Pool Only Members
- Swim Lesson patron
Note: Current SFA students (including online, continuing and dual-credit), faculty and staff members are not eligible for a "Wellness Permit."
Canceling your membership
Requests to cancel must be submitted in writing, either by visiting the Student Recreation Center administrative office or by emailing campusrec@sfasu.edu.
Note for students currently taking classes on-campus: Withdrawing from the university will void your membership, and you will only be reimbursed for recreation fees according to the refund policy in the General Bulletin.
