  • and storyboarding.

With a strong base in observational drawing, our program also includes instruction in industry standard software programs and brand new techniques like virtual reality motion tracking.

Find your niche

Through hands-on production of independent projects and in collaborative teams, you’ll develop technical facility in digital imaging, sound, video, animation, media installation and the use of interactivity.

Art history, theory and contemporary issues are integrated with technical instruction. Media art is explored in relation to its history in electronic art, video art, experimental film and performance art.

Blurring the lines between traditional and digital

Students are encouraged to take an experiment approach to their artmaking. Emphasis is placed on hybrid practices that bring digital media into direct relationship with analog and/or traditional media such drawing, sculpture and filmmaking.
