We're gearing up to welcome Lumberjacks back to campus! Whether you're a new or returning resident (or parent!), you'll benefit from these available maps, pro tips and guides as you're planning your move in.

Before You Pack Before You Arrive

Key dates for residents moving in

Aug. 6: Residents receive email to select move-in time.
Aug. 20-21: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. — First-year residents check in
- The offices of financial aid (first floor, Austin Building) and student billing (second floor, Austin Building) will be open until 6 p.m.
- Academic advising and registration support available during resident check-in hours in the Steen Library Lumberjack Learning Lab 2.
Aug. 22-23: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. — Non-first year residents check in
- Academic advising and registration support available during resident check-in hours in the Steen Library Lumberjack Learning Lab 2.
Aug. 23: Settle in as a Lumberjack with Weeks of Welcome events!
Aug. 25: Fall semester starts

Before You Pack

Pro-tips before you start packing the car:

Avoid delay in receiving room assignment: Clear account holds, register for classes and upload your proof of bacterial meningitis immunization through mySFA.

View room details and furniture dimensions based on your residence hall assignment.

Before You Arrive

Packed and ready to hit the road to Nacogdoches?

Resident Check In: Enter 2407 N. University Drive, Nacogdoches, Texas as your GPS destination. This will direct you to Lot 47, also known as the SFA Commuter Lot.

Unload at Residence Hall: After checking in, go to your residence hall. Resources that may be helpful:
