Each certificate features selected courses from our Master of Business Administration curriculum that help you develop skills needed to manage organizations successfully.
Admission requirements
Open to all students holding a bachelor's degree without regard to major and a minimum 2.5 GPA. A complete checklist of documents needed to apply for enrollment in SFA's graduate school is available on the Graduate Admissions webpage.
Program details
Each certificate program consists of four courses, which may be taken as part of the MBA program, another graduate degree, or on their own. You can complete these courses in as little as two semesters.
The courses are taught face-to-face or via Zoom (synchronous) in the evenings, with one course offered as an asynchronous online course. Because this certificate is offered through a hybrid approach, you can complete it no matter where you live.
Business Analytics certificate
(12 semester-credit-hours, 4 courses)
In addition to providing the marketable analytical skills you need to be successful in business, this certificate can help you further advance your career in business analytics.

To earn this certificate, you must complete:
- BUSI 5380: Applied Business Analytics and Data Visualization
- ECON 5320: Managerial Economics
- FINC 5314: Advanced Financial Management
- One of the following:
- ACCT 5366: Advanced Statistical Methods and Data Analytics for Detecting Fraud
- ECON 5325: Data Driven Decision Making
- MGMT 5380: Quantitative Management Applications

Organizational Leadership certificate
(12 semester-credit-hours, 4 courses)
Designed for those who wish to be business leaders, managers and top executives, this certificate provides the marketable skills you need to further advance your career as a successful leader in business.
