Graham Bacak
Education:

Personal Training Philosophy: Becak's training philosophy is to inspire a passion for exercise, and for clients to consider the Student Recreation Center a second home. He seeks to challenge your capabilities while sustaining a positive mindset, setting realistic goals and creating an engaging program. His specialties include hypertrophy training, muscular endurance and physique training.

Jessica Leon
Education:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in kinesiology and a minor in general business

Personal Training Philosophy: Leon believes committing to something outside of one’s comfort zone will benefit physical and mental health. She often refers to a quote from Michael John Bobak: "All progress takes place outside the comfort zone."
Leon’s goal is to challenge her clients to question their desire to become better than they were yesterday. She creates programs that engages clients and helps them understand how to navigate their goals. She specializes in weight loss, hypertrophy and cardiovascular endurance. Leon has a background in powerlifting, and plans to open a private physical therapy practice.
Josh Miller
Education:

- Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in food and nutrition with a minor in exercise science

- Athletics and Fitness Association of America certified group fitness instructor

Personal Training Philosophy: Miller focuses on clients breaking down barriers to fitness and healthy living. According to Miller, it is easy to get overwhelmed by the plethora of information available online, and being told what new exercises and diets they should be doing. Miller’s goal is to help his clients achieve their fitness and health goals by equipping them with the tools that work for them, and by helping them establish a relationship with fitness in everyday life. He enjoys cooking, playing music with friends, working out and board games.
Ethan Montalvo

Personal Training Philosophy: Montalvo's training philosophy is to empower individuals to achieve their wellness goals through personalized guidance, education and support. Montalvo strategically designs programs that are unique to the client while maintaining the balance of everyday life, and prioritizes strong relationships based on trust, respect and open communication.
Montalvo's ultimate goal is to make a positive impact in his clients' lives, help them achieve their fitness goals, improve their health and well-being and unlock their full potential to live life to the fullest.

Brianna Rivera
Education:

Personal Training Philosophy: Rivera strives to help her clients build strength and confidence throughout their gym experience. Her specialties include hypertrophy and resistance training.
Mackenzie Suggs

Personal Training Philosophy: Suggs encourages clients to change their bodies by changing their mindsets. The client is challenged to push past their mental limits and strive for their true capabilities. Suggs also hopes to educate clients about exercise and its importance to overall health through her personal experience with competitive bodybuilding. Her specialties include hypertrophy, strength and flexibility training.
Tyler Weiss
Education:
- Bachelor of Science in nutrition specialized in exercise science
- Currently pursuing a Master of Science in kinesiology

Personal training philosophy: Weiss encourages the principles of progression. No matter the fitness goal, a customized step-by-step approach must be taken in order to accomplish it. When the correct plan is put into action, people's lives can change in ways they never thought possible. During his experience as a trainer, Weiss has learned how to guide people to become better versions of themselves. His specialties include strength training, hypertrophy training and physique development.
Body composition assessments
This 15-minute three-site skinfold assessment, performed by one of our certified personal trainers, determines your amount of lean body mass versus fat body mass. At the end of the assessment, you will receive general guidelines for how to improve body composition.
Assessments are $5; scheduling and payment are completed in the Student Recreation Center administration office.

- Purchase a personal training package online.
- Complete the following documents:
- Personal Training registration packet
- Waiver (print, sign and scan)
- Submit the documents:
- Email: jescelyn.madrigal@sfasu.edu, or
- Visit the Student Recreation Center administration office.
No refunds will be given for personal training sessions, packages or programs.
Small-group strength training
Practice proper weightlifting mechanics in a motivating small-group environment. This class will emphasize the fundamentals of weightlifting to create an effective and safe experience for beginners and avid athletes.
Whether you’re interested in gaining muscle mass, decreasing body fat percentage or increasing muscular endurance, this program will guide you toward reaching your goals.
