Scholarship opportunities just for Department of Business Communication and Legal Studies students
BCLS Scholarship
Awarded during the spring term. BCLS undergraduate students are eligible if they:
- are classified as senior students (90 earned hours or more)
- are majoring in general business or business communication and corporate education
- maintained a high GPA
- and have been active within the department.
There is not an application for this scholarship. To be considered, you must meet the above eligibility criteria and have applied for at least one other SFA scholarship.
Bonnie and McNeil Moore Business Education Scholarship
This scholarship is for the benefit of general business majors who also are pursuing a secondary education minor. Preference will be given to students who graduated from Shelby County ISD.
Christine M. Irvine, Ralph L. White, Judith Biss Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship is to benefit general business majors or office systems majors with a 2.5 GPA or higher.
Don A. Evans Business Scholarship
This scholarship is to benefit a general business major with an administrative law minor who has a 3.0 GPA.
The Elbert and Edna Earl Reese Memorial General Business Scholarship
The scholarship is for the benefit of general business majors with a 3.0 GPA or higher.
The Peggy & N. Campbell Cox Scholarship
This scholarship is intended for a general business or management major who maintains a 2.75 GPA. Recipient must demonstrate financial need and be a resident of Nacogdoches, San Augustine or Shelby County.
Regents Scholarship - Business Communication & Legal Studies
This scholarship is intended for an incoming first-year, sophomore or junior-level student who has not previously attended SFA.
The student must be in the top 15% of their graduating high school class or have a minimum ACT score of 27 or SAT score of 1220.
