The Schlief School of Accountancy offers an engaging educational environment that promotes your success in the accounting profession with all its activities. Our dedicated faculty members, through research and real-world learning opportunities, work hard to bridge the gap between the academic and practitioner settings so you graduate career-ready and confident.

Every year, we hold an annual accounting career fair in the fall semester to help you build your résumé, practice interviewing and ultimately land that dream job. Our outstanding alumni include top industry experts who frequently visit the campus to guest speak in classes, advise you and share their experiences as they become part of your professional network.

If you're considering a master's degree along with a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting to give you a competitive edge in the workforce, we offer one of only a few integrated BBA/Master of Professional Accountancy programs in Texas. You can earn your bachelor's and master's degrees in accounting at the same time in five years and graduate ready to take the Texas certified public accountant exam.

In addition to preparing you for your future, we love to celebrate your successes. Our annual accounting scholarship banquet and student organizations, including the Beta Alpha Psi honor society for financial information students and professionals, recognize our outstanding students.
