Check out native plants, walking trails and “treehenge”

Explore, unwind and learn about native East Texas plants in this two-acre park, which is located near the banks of Lanana Creek.

During your visit, you can take a leisurely stroll along more than seven miles of walking trails, stop and admire the native wildflowers or simply sit back and enjoy the view from one of the park’s six new benches. And, of course, don’t forget to check out our two “Treehenge” features, which are composed of native bald cypress trees planted in a circular pattern.

Hinds Park is located on East Austin Street and is accessible from the Tucker Woods trail that begins at the Pineywoods Native Plant Center.
