Fiction and poetry prizes

The SFA Press offers fiction and poetry prizes annually. For further information, watch for announcements.

Student internships / involvement

SFA students studying English, creative writing or art have opportunities to serve either as publishing interns or student workers. Students may take internship coursework that places them at the helm of publishing projects.

At the graduate level, students pursuing the Master of Arts in English may be awarded an assistantship with the press. Additionally, students pursuing the Master of Arts in publishing have the opportunity to gain invaluable experience as assistants.

Book proposal guidelines

SFA Press is interested in publishing well-researched, well-written works. The press also welcomes book proposals by both established and first-time writers.
