Axe ’Em, Jacks!
All Veterans, Reservists, members of the Guard, Active Duty members, and commissioning ROTC are eligible for stoles and cords. These are presented to students at a graduation luncheon the week of graduation. Families and mentors of the graduating student are also invited to the luncheon. Mentors are presented with a VRC coin. Qualifying students are emailed a few months before graduation to RSVP for the luncheon.
Attendance at the luncheon is not mandatory. Qualifying students can pick up their graduation memorabilia the week of graduation. For students at satellite campuses and not planning to attend graduation in person, their memorabilia can be mailed to them.
All students receiving federal benefits are included in the luncheon invitation. For military-connected students using Hazlewood or not using any benefits, please make sure the VRC flags your student account as a Veteran to be included in the invitation.
