The 2025-26 FAFSA is now available via studentaid.gov. To ensure successful completion, read our webpage about applying for aid. If you have been selected for verification, a 2023 IRS tax transcript can be requested via irs.gov.

Summer 2025: Be sure to complete the 2024-25 FAFSA before June 30, 2025

2025-26 (upcoming aid year)

SFA's general scholarship application: Open through Feb. 1, 2025
FAFSA applications: opened Nov. 21, 2024 on studentaid.gov
TASFA paper applications: available on highered.texas.gov

May 1	Summer semester SAP appeal submissions accepted. Learn more on the SAP webpage.
May 23	First summer semester aid disbursement.
June 11	Summer semester SAP appeal submission deadline. Learn more on the SAP webpage.
June 24	Second summer semester aid disbursement.
Aug. 21–22	Extended office hours: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Aug. 23–24	Office is closed.
