Information Desk

The Information Desk is centrally located on the first floor of the Baker Pattillo Student Center and is the go-to spot for general inquiries, campus maps and directions, and information about events happening in the student center. The Information Desk staff also answers the university’s main phone line and can connect callers to any office, department or extension on campus. Call (936) 468-3401 for assistance.

Lost and Found

The Information Desk also is home to the campus’ central Lost and Found, where the staff collects and stores items that have become separated from their owners. Lost property such as cell phones, jackets and coats, wallets, jewelry, keys, books, backpacks, and tablets and laptops are often brought to this location. Be sure to check the Lost and Found when you’re missing something, and kindly bring found items to the Information Desk so they can be returned to their owners. Lost student IDs can be dropped off and retrieved at the Graphic Shop, located in Room 1.207 of the student center near the Information Desk.

Lost and found items are also kept secure at the University Police Department and the circulation desk in the Ralph W. Steen Library.
