A solid foundation for future social workers
SFA’s School of Social Work offers a unique combination of classwork, field instruction and internship opportunities that help students become competent, effective social workers. Our Bachelor of Social Work program will prepare you for a career in a variety of settings, from schools and health care facilities to mental health and family services agencies to criminal justice, child welfare and education.
Students who earn a Bachelor of Social Work also may choose to pursue a graduate degree that prepares them for more advanced positions serving rural communities.
Accreditations
SFA’s Bachelor of Social Work and Master of Social Work programs are accredited by the Council on Social Work Education.
