Elevate SFA
Time and again, Lumberjacks have responded to the call to ensure the university has the resources and programs to attract students—many of whom are first-generation college students—with ambition and a strong work ethic.
This is a community that rises together to do even more for SFA and our students. The opportunity is before us now to raise the bar once again across the entire institution for both academic and athletic programs to become a more modern university, providing nonconventional, innovative and emerging academic degrees and flexible delivery methods to prepare students for success in the 21st-century workplace.
To accomplish our goals, SFA is mounting a $100 million campaign to raise critical funds for scholarships, faculty support, facility enhancements and program support. With your help, SFA is poised to take our beloved university even further and help our students achieve more than they dreamed possible for themselves and their families.
It is our time to rise together to Elevate SFA.
Although the joy of beginning her collegiate basketball career was overshadowed by the unexpected and devastating loss of her mother, Avery Brittingham’s teammates and coaches helped her focus on goals her mother inspired.
Daniel Campos, the first student in his family to attend college, decided to change the goals that society might have set for him and now holds an engineering degree from SFA.
Dr. Keith Hubbard, a professor of mathematics, is using data that can provide valuable training experiences for students while simultaneously boosting the chances of all students to succeed.
Undeterred by the illness that could have destroyed her dancing dreams, Addison Pope is defying the odds and finding fulfillment at SFA.
