Performance Assessment Network (PAN) Testing

Performance Assessment Network, a TALX company, is a web-based system for the distribution, administration and analysis of professional assessments and tests.

Stephen F. Austin State University is a testing center for Performance Assessment Network tests. Candidates must arrive at the test center at least 15 minutes prior to their exam appointment. All exams are administered in the Thomas J. Rusk Building, Room 328.

Candidates wishing to schedule a test offered through PAN need to schedule their test through the Performance Assessment Network.

Identification Requirements

  • Two forms of identification are required. One must be a valid government issued photo bearing ID.
  • Candidates need to access and know their exam sponsor’s specific identification requirements.

It is your responsibility to read and understand the ID requirements as published by the exam sponsors.

Candidates who do not present acceptable ID will not be allowed to test. 

Acceptable photo identifications include federal and state issued IDs:

  • a valid driver’s license
  • U.S. military ID
  • a passport

Accommodations for Disabilities

Candidates needing special accommodations must make prior arrangements with their exam sponsor during the initial application process, well in advance of a preferred testing date.  Accommodation requests will be reviewed by the test sponsor. Testing centers are not permitted to offer accommodations that have not been approved by the test sponsor.
