Counseling Services
Counseling Services assists SFA students in overcoming obstacles to their personal and academic goals. They accomplish this through individual and group counseling for students and through outreach, presentation, training and consultation for the campus community.
Counseling is a free service for all students at SFA
Counseling services offered:
- Addiction and abuse of alcohol and other drugs
- Adjustment issues, including adjustment to college life
- Anger and Stress Management
- Anxiety and Depression
- Communication
- Eating disorders
- Gender identity and sexual orientation
- Grief and Trauma
- Relationship difficulties, including: roommates, significant others, professors, violence and physical abuse
- Sexual assault
- Thoughts of suicide or preoccupation with death
