SFA voice professor Turner to present collaborative recital

NACOGDOCHES, Texas – Dr. Chris Turner, assistant professor of voice at Stephen F. Austin State University, will be joined by colleagues to present a recital at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 17, in Cole Concert Hall on the SFA campus.
 
Turner will perform with Robert Boren, voice professor at Tyler Junior College, and Maggie Hinchliffe, collaborative pianist at SFA.
 
Turner will perform selections by W.A. Mozart, Stefano Donaudy, Charles Ives, Ned Rorem and Lori Laitman. Boren will perform works by Jules Massenet, Ludwig van Beethoven, Johannes Brahms, Claude Debussey and Gustav Mahler, among others.
