NACOGDOCHES, Texas — Stephen F. Austin State University has entered a technology partnership with Devart, one of the leading developers of database management software, to provide dbForge Studio for Structured Query Language Server to students in the Rusche College of Business.
The dbForge Studio SQL Server’s integrated development environment helps users design databases, write SQL code, compare databases, synchronize schemas and data, and generate meaningful test data.
“This software is widely used in business today, so it’s critical that our students be familiar with it to be competitive in the job market,” said Dr. Jamie Humphries, assistant professor of business communications and legal studies.
Students will begin using the software in the spring 2023 semester.
