NACOGDOCHES, Texas – The Stephen F. Austin State University School of Art and the Friends of the Visual Arts will show a selection of short films by current SFA students as a feature of the Friday Night Film Series starting at 7 p.m. Friday, May 5, at The Cole Art Center @ The Old Opera House.
Students whose work will be showcased are Armando Silvas Jr., graduate film student from Cleveland; Skye Davis, graduate film student from Tyler; Joseph Owolabi, graduate film student from Abuja, Nigeria; Elizabeth Trujillo, graduate interdisciplinary student from Sachse; Carter Colvin, graduate film student from Lindale; Shane Cody, senior film student from Cooper; Jair Frazzini, senior film student from Georgetown; Ashton Powell, senior film student from Rhome; Kendall Ivy, senior film student from Houston; Emily Barnes, senior film student from Kingsland; Connor Adams, junior film student from Houston; Sean Correa, junior film student from Friendswood; Andrew Miller, sophomore film student from Houston; and Harvey Fleming, a freshman from Houston.
The Friday Night Film Series is made possible in part by a grant from the Center for Applied Research and Rural Innovation at SFA. The series is also sponsored in part by filmmaking Professor William Arscott.
