NACOGDOCHES, Texas - Stephen F. Austin State University's SFA Gardens, in partnership with the SFA student chapter of the National Association for Interpretation, will host Nacogdoches Naturally Outdoor Adventures Day from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 17, at the Pineywoods Native Plant Center, located at 2900 Raguet St. in Nacogdoches.
The family-friendly event is designed to engage participants in the outdoors, and it includes a range of outdoor activities for SFA students and community members of all ages. Activities include outdoor cooking demonstrations, nature and tree identification hikes led by SFA graduate students, geocaching, and much more.
The outdoor event is free and open to the public.
