NACOGDOCHES, Texas - KSAU, the radio station of Stephen F. Austin State University, will be off the air for the next couple of months while its transmitter site is being updated.
The SFA Board of Regents recently approved the replacement of the 25-year-old transmitter, antenna and transmitter building.
"This will allow us to bring a clearer and more far-reaching signal to the surrounding area," said Dr. John Hendricks, chair of the SFA Department of Mass Communication. "You will still be able to hear KSAU via online streaming at ksauradio.com or through SFA's smartphone app."
KSAU plays alternative rock music and is operated by the students of the SFA Department of Mass Communication.
