The SFA campus will be lit with festive lights at the RHA Holiday Extravaganza. Attendees may enjoy holiday treats, musical performances and pictures with Santa.

NACOGDOCHES, Texas-The Residence Hall Association at Stephen F. Austin State University will host a night of festive family fun at the annual Holiday Extravaganza Tuesday, Nov. 27. The event begins at 6 p.m. in front of the Austin Building and continues until 8 p.m. in the Baker Pattillo Student Center.

The night will feature a variety of carnival booths and crafts, musical performances, and holiday snacks like hot chocolate and warm cookies. Photo opportunities with Santa and Mrs. Claus will be available in the Spirit Lounge, and guests will see Santa light up the SFA campus.

In conjunction with the event, the SFA Alumni Association will host a "Deck the Hall" event inside the Pearman Alumni Office Hall of Honors. Festivities for children include decorating SFA-themed Christmas cookies, making food for Santa's reindeer and creating Lumberjack ornaments for a purple SFA tree.

Guests also may drop off canned food items at the Alumni Office for the Nine Flags Christmas Festival "Stock the Pantry" Canned Food Drive sponsored by the Nacogdoches Convention and Visitors Bureau. All canned food items donated will be given to local charities to benefit Nacogdoches County residents.
