Local resident presents memory book to royal representatives

Nacogdoches resident Ann Phillips shares a memory book about Queen Elizabeth II, which was created by her friend, the late Willie Gramling, a beloved local music teacher. The book includes photos, articles and other mementos from the queen's reign, and was presented to visitors from London during a recent announcement about the Lumberjack Marching Band's upcoming trip abroad. The book will accompany the band to London, where SFA students will lead the 2013 New Year's Day Parade. Pictured, from left, are Phillips; Robert Bone, executive director of London's New Year's Day Parade; Roger Bramble, her majesty's deputy lieutenant for London's New Year's Day Parade; and Dr. David Campo, associate director of bands at SFA.
