Members of The "New" Original Cast, the SFA School of Theatre's musical cabaret troupe, will give four performances of "A Real Hometown Family Christmas Spectacle" as part of the Nine Flags Festival in downtown Nacogdoches. The all-new musical focuses on two very different families who are competing for the honor of putting on the headlining pageant of the town's annual holiday festival. The ensuing conflict, chaos and near-catastrophe can be resolved only with a Christmas miracle. Show times are 7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2; 3 and 9 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3; and 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 4. All performances are at The Cole Art Center, 329 E. Main St. Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for seniors, students and youth.
